Your guide to timeless photos.

Couples are one of my favorite shoots to do. Capturing young love, (or old), never goes out of style. I want it your photos to feel like they came straight out of a rom-com. New to this? You aren't alone.

Storytelling

Photography is an the art of storytelling without words. My job is to showcase your relationship through the eyes of an artist. The first step in the process is making sure to fill out the questionnaire with as many details - I love capturing true emotions, not scripted ones. If you two like to play a game together, sport, cook, dance, anything - I'd love to know about it in order to better serve you as an artist.

Be flexible

Not physically, don't worry. During a shoot I may ask you to do things that may seem silly, but trust me it makes for a good picture! Most people who come before my camera don't automatically know how to do the whole "pictures" thing - and trust me I don't expect you to! Thats my job, let me help you.

What you should bring to the table (well, the shoot.)

Vibes-wise, bring your authentic self. My goal is to make you and your partner feel comfortable and at ease, rather than tight and superficial. Chances are I'll show up with a mini speaker playing music to lighten the mood, and we can find our rhythm from there! Materially speaking, props can absolutely MAKE a shoot. Blankets, picnic baskets, food, cameras, you name it. The more the better!

As always, outfits can also make or break a shoot. Stick to textures, not patterns. Timeless color schemes, coordinating but not matching is a good go-to as well. See my outfit guide for more ideas.
